Social Media Marketing for Contractors

Social media marketing for contractors, from the jobsite.

Your crew already takes photos of tear-offs, rough-ins and final walkthroughs. That’s most of what good social media for contractors needs. We turn it into steady before-and-after posts and short video for Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor, so homeowners nearby know your name before they need you.

Free audit and growth strategy first. You approve the posting plan before we start.

Why posting stalls

Your phone is full of jobs nobody has seen.

Between supplier calls, inspections, punch lists and the next estimate, posting is the first thing that slides. We give it an owner and a schedule, built from the photos and clips your crew already takes on the job.

Three posts, then silence
A slow week brings a burst of photos. Then the busy season hits and the page sits untouched for months.
Photos with no story
A shot of a finished shower says nothing about the leaking pan you replaced or the tight layout you solved.
Nobody is in charge of posting
Pictures sit on three different phones, with no job name, no customer sign-off and no one assigned to post them.
Likes that go nowhere
Neighbors react to the post but can’t tell which towns you serve or how to book an estimate.

What we handle

Social media marketing,
run like a job.

We plan posts around the services you want to sell, the towns you work in and the material your crew can realistically send. How often we post, and in which formats, is set in the scope.

A monthly content calendar

Posts mapped to the jobs you want more of, seasonal work and the questions homeowners ask at estimates.

Captions with context

Plain-language captions that explain what was wrong, what you changed and why it was done that way.

Photo and video editing

We turn your photos into before-and-after posts and cut phone clips into short video. On-site photography or filming is scoped separately if you want it.

Approval and posting

You review posts before they go live, then we handle scheduling on the accounts we manage.

Profile cleanup

Services, service towns, hours, phone number and website links, correct and easy to find on each profile.

Monthly review

Which posts got seen, which drew messages or site visits, and which inquiries we can trace back to social.

Platforms, posting volume, who answers messages, account access and fees are agreed in the scope before the first post goes up.

Before-and-after stories

Show what changed, and why it matters.

A roof photo from the street tells a homeowner very little. The story is in the details: the soft decking found during tear-off, the tub swapped for a curbless shower, the motorized shades on a two-story window nobody could reach.

We pair your before, during and after shots with that context in a few plain sentences. Everything shown is work your crew actually did. We never make up customer quotes or borrow someone else’s photos.

A capture routine

A photo habit that doesn’t slow the job.

Nobody on your crew needs to become a videographer. We pick a few moments worth capturing on each job, like the first day, the messy middle and the final walkthrough, plus one simple place to send them.

Each upload needs a few notes: the job type, the town, what changed and if the homeowner is fine with it being shared. We draft the post from there, and you approve it before it goes out under your name.

From post to inquiry

Social media for contractors earns trust first.

Very few people book a roofer from an Instagram post. They see your work a few times, a neighbor mentions you on Nextdoor, and when the leak shows up your name is already familiar. Your profiles should make it simple to call or ask for an estimate.

Organic posts and paid Facebook and Instagram ads work well together when one plan covers both. Posting alone doesn’t promise leads, and ad management is a separate service with its own budget and tracking.

How a post becomes a call

From a jobsite photo to an estimate request.

  1. Your crew snaps it

Phone photos and a quick note from the job.

  2. We shape the post

Caption, edit and format it for each platform.

  3. It runs on schedule

Steady posts keep your key services in front of people.

  4. Neighbors reach out

Messages and clicks lead to your estimate form.

Monthly social reporting

Know which posts turned into conversations.

Each month we look at which jobs people stopped to look at, which posts started messages, and what happened on your site after a click. Those answers shape the next calendar.

Likes don’t pay for materials. Plenty of homeowners see a post, then call weeks later after a Google search, so we show what the tracking can prove and say plainly where it loses the trail.

How we get started

An honest look
at your accounts.

Send us links to your profiles and tell us which services you want to push and what’s kept posting from happening. We review what’s there and show you a plan before you commit to any paid work.

Your feed, as a homeowner sees it.

What a stranger learns from a quick scroll through your profiles.

  1. Audit your current accounts

We look at your profiles, recent posts, photo backlog, links to your website and how messages get answered today. You tell us which services to promote, which towns matter and how many new jobs you can take on.

  2. Review the content plan

We show you which platforms to focus on, what a month of posts looks like and what we need from your team. You decide before any paid work starts.

  3. Set up and first posts

Once you sign off on scope and fees, we clean up profiles, set up the photo routine with your crew, add link tracking and schedule the first round of posts.

  4. Post, review, adjust

With active tracking running, each month brings a report and a new calendar. Your feedback on which inquiries were a good fit, and which jobs you’re too busy for, shapes what we post next.

Social media questions

What owners
ask first.

Social media for contractors raises the same few questions: time, filming, platforms and who hits publish. Here are straight answers.

Which platforms should we be on?

Usually Facebook and Instagram, plus Nextdoor if your jobs cluster in certain neighborhoods. Instagram suits visual work like kitchens and shades. Roofers and HVAC companies often get more from Facebook and Nextdoor, where neighbors ask who to call.

How often will you post for us?

As often as you can supply real work to show, which we agree on in the scope. A steady weekly rhythm with good material beats daily filler, and we won’t promise a pace your jobs can’t support.

Does my crew have to film videos?

No one has to perform on camera. Short phone clips of the work itself, like a slow pan across a finished kitchen or a tear-off in progress, are enough for us to edit. Professional filming can be scoped separately.

Will you answer comments and messages?

Yes, within limits we set together. We reply to general comments and thank-yous. Anything about pricing, scheduling or a specific job goes straight to your office, so a real inquiry doesn’t sit in an inbox.

Are Facebook and Instagram ads part of this?

Not by default. Paid social is a separate service with its own ad budget, and your proposal says plainly if the two are combined. Running both from one plan keeps ads and posts telling the same story.

Who writes captions and approves posts?

We write them from your photos and notes, and you or someone you name approves each post before it goes live. If a detail is off, like a product name or a town, we fix it first.

you’re proud of.
